With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kaye McDonald Richard of Laurens, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: the father of her children Marion Shaw McDonald Sr.; and her parents, Mac Boyte and Jean Boyte. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Richard; her children, Ashley McDonald Chitwood (Ryan), Leslie Ryan McDonald and Marion Shaw McDonald Jr. (Becca); her grandchildren, Joseph, John Robert McCollum, Tess, Olivia and Carson McDonald; her pet Jakob Erik McDonald; and her siblings, Katherine Tice and Mac Boyte (Barbara).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Laurens (400 W Main St, Laurens, SC 29360).
