He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie Lever and Carrie Richardson Lever; his sons, Kevin Lever and Steven Lever; and his brother Charles Lever.

He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Lever; his children, Curtis Lever (Linda) of Newberry and Teresa Painter (Rick) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Crystal Borden (RJ), Melissa Lever, Brittney Williams (Ricky) and Cody Lever (Wendy); and his great grandchildren, Samantha White, Kaisie White, Ross Williams, Hayden White, Dalton Williams and Skarlytte Borden. He is also survived by his 5 great-great grandchildren.
