She was predeceased by: her spouse J. R. Townsend; her parents, Clarence Craine and Mae Johnson Craine; her daughter Evelyn Weathers; her sisters, Ann Kirk and Sarah Montgomery; and her grandson Nicky Weathers.
She is survived by: her son Tony Wade Weathers (Marlene); her grandchildren, Jennifer Gregory (Chad), Tracy McNuer (Brian) and Sean Burns; her great grandchildren, Elaina "Nikki" Weathers of Tony Keith, Summer Patterson (Alan), Ashton Burns (Blake), Sloan Gregory and Austin McNuer; and her great great grandchildren, Colton Patterson and Max Burns.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Welcome Baptist Church (1825 SC-14, Laurens, SC 29360). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
