With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Walker of Laurens, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lockridge and Clara Lucille Epps McNeill; and her grandson Wesley Kyle Cromer. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Walker; her children, David Cromer (Lori) of Anderson, Melanie Stewart (Keith) of Abbeville and Christie Metz of Columbia; her brothers, Don McNeill of Abbeville, Sammy McNeill of Abbeville and Tracy McNeill of Abbeville; her grandchildren, Kayce, Dalton, Autumn, Robert and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Julian, Weston, Waylon, Emilia, Whitley, Grayden, Macie and Harper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parker-White Funeral Home (17 N Greenwood Ave Ext, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals Service (17 N Greenwood Ave Ext, Ware Shoals, SC 29692).
