It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Charles Johnson Jr. (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ann Eppley Johnson; his parents, William Charles Johnson, Sr. and Nannie Sue Hill Johnson; his brothers, Billy, Earl and Gerald Johnson; and his adoptive parents, Robert Hill and Juanita Hill.
He is survived by: his children, David Charles Johnson (Joan) of Arkansas and Julie Johnson Lawson (Bobby) of Hickory Tavern; his grandchildren, Robert of Hickory Tavern, Kole of Hickory Tavern, Jordan of Hickory Tavern and Maddi Lawson of Hickory Tavern; his brother Jimmy Johnson of Erwin, NC; his siblings-in-law, Jane Johnson, Linda Johnson, Paul Eppley (Ann), John Eppley and Jim Eppley; and his siblings, Robbie Hill (Andrea), Buddy Hill (Cindy), Kathy Crotts (David) and James Hill (Kristy). He is also survived by grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
