She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred C. Carroll and Myrtice Hall Carroll; her husband Brooks E. Frye; her sons, Randall and Craig Wasson; and her siblings, Louise Clark Hopkins and Floyd "Pedro" Oswald.
She is survived by: her daughter Ingrid W. Hutto (Tim); her grandsons, Henry Hutto (Allyson) and Cody Hutto (Allison); her great grandchildren, Eli and Millie Sue Hutto; her stepchildren, Sheryl Frye Thorndyke, Katrina Frye Shealy and Brooks Edward "Eddie" Frye, Jr. (Tonya); and her friend Sheryl Fox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Milton Shealy Funeral Home (115 N Pine St, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Global Methodist Church, 513 West Church Street, Batesburg, SC 29006 or to a charity of one's choice.
