With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Eugene Harris Sr. of Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon C. Harris and Mary Hair Harris; his wife Valdoris Phillip Harris; his daughter Tania Morgan; and his sisters, Sarah Sumpter and Dottie Speath.
He is survived by: his close friend Florence Taylor; his children, Harris, Garfield Harris and Denise Jenkins (David); his siblings, Joseph Harris and Dorothy Caldwell (Bennie); and his grandchildren, Sincere and Giovanni. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
