With sadness, we share the passing of Gail M. Williams of Leesville, South Carolina. Gail, born on February 17, 1948, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barrett and Millie Phillips Barrett; her children, Ray Johnson, Kay Johnson and Allen Johnson Sr.; her granddaughter Ashley Bennett; and her siblings, Phillip Watts and Shonea Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Williams; her children, Rodney Johnson (Angie) and Laura Jean Johnson; her daughter-in-law India Farmer (Tracy); her grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Shayna Miller, Allen Johnson Jr. (Megan), Zachary Johnson (Miranda), Rodney Johnson Jr., Clint Caron, Britney Caron (Sanford) and Crystal Smith (Tracey); and her sisters, Suzette Russell (Ricki) and Lisa Barlett. She is also survived by 28 great‑grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steadman Baptist Church (1011 N Edisto Rd, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
