It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Floyd Wooley of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Walter and Ella Ridgell Warren Wooley; his wife Faynetta Blanche Wooley; and his son George F. Wooley, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Puryear (Joe Henderson), Rebekah Williams and Linda De Lira (Rafael). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
