He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Sowder Long; and his siblings-in-law, Shelby H. Long, Evelyn Peat, Betty Veronikas, Norma Williams (Lee) and Thomas Sowder. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070).
