She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Barnes; her parents, Arthur Charrette and Florence Charrette; and her sisters, Bertha Parenteau and Irene Bomley.
She is survived by: her sister Lucille Menard of Myrtle Beach; her children, David and Donna Toney; and her son-in-law James Toney of Lexington. She is also survived by four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
