With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Roland Bodie of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Batesburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Blanton and Viola Senterfeit Roland; her husband Dr. Edward H. Bodie, Jr.; and her siblings, John Larry Roland and Janice Roland Harsey.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Gale S. Roland; her nieces, Lisa Langford Shealy, Janna H. Collins and Teena H. White; and her dachshund Zach.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at the Batesburg Cemetery (140 S Peachtree St, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006).
