He was predeceased by: his parents, James Covington and Wilma Covington; and his sisters, Jan C. Parrish and Lynn C. Roof. He is survived by: his wife Jettie Covington; his son Thomas Covington, Jr.; his granddaughter Sydney Covington; and his siblings, Ellon Quattlebaum (Nelson), Carol Oswald (Mike) and Wyman Covington (Becky). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
