She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Kent and Birdie Dee Kent (Moore); her husband Eugene Brown; her daughter Lawanna Renee Brown; and her sister Peggy Kent.
She is survived by: her sons, Scottie (Lavern) of Port Orange, FL and Bobby (Michele) of Lexington, SC.; her grandchildren, Ericka of Port Orange and Nicolas of Rock Hill, SC; her siblings, Marilyn Ingram, Myrtle Kent of Titusville, FL, Flora Kent of Alabama, Tammy Kent, Phyllis Kent of Mims, Quincy Kent, Jr. (Jane) of California, Willie Kent, Michael Kent and Sherman Kent; and her godchildren, Anita Sigler, Alysc Barton and Scottie McConnico. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
