She is survived by: her children, James A. Byrd of California, Vence D. Bryd of Virginia and Dorothy M. Ewell of South Carolina; and her siblings, Earvin Ewell, Randolph Ewell of Delaware and Cheryl D. Harris of South Carolina. She is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
