She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Fox Medlin and Bessie Manus Fox Medlin; her husband D. J. Roland, Jr.; and her daughter Virginia Roland. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne R. Freeman (Billy), Wyona R. Bradley (Garry) and D. J. Roland III (Carla); her grandchildren, Dannell Johnson (Kevin), Billy Freeman, Jeremy Roland (Jessica) and Dylan Roland (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Freeman, Chandler Freeman, Devin Johnson and Nate Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, The Shriner's Hospital (where she received burn treatments as a child) or a charity of your choice.
