He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Hughes and Arthur T. Hughes. He is survived by: his wife's daughters, Emily and Catherine; his granddaughters, Mia and Amelia Mae (Mia); his wife Lucie Hughes; his daughters, Emily Hughes and Catherine Nolan; his grandchildren, Lydia, Emmett Jr. Nolan and Amelia Mae Crawford; and his brothers, Mike and David Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to two of Artie's favorite charities, The American Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.
