It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ryder in Lexington, South Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Toplock, Jr. and Patricia Ann. She is survived by: her husband Gary Ryder; her sister Linda VanValkenburg Bills; her son Thomas Harrison; her daughter-in-law Toni; her grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Ryan, Elliot and Elizabeth; her stepdaughter Jennifer Heinz; and her grandson Tristan Heinz.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Humane Society of South Carolina or American Cancer Society.
