She was predeceased by: her parent C. E. Prater; and her brother Arthur Kent. She is survived by: her mother Frances Prater; her children, Rebecca Brewer Gordon and Eric Brewer; her siblings, Jim Prater (Julia) and Marsha Prater Kirkland; and her grandchildren, Bryson, Kaitlyn, Chezney, Tristan Brewer, Hayden and Taylor Gordon.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Becky's honor to The Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund, P.O. Box 2641, Columbia, SC 29202.
