Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Betty leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Thompson and Beulah Evelyn Bright Thompson; and her sister Beverly Rankin of Bethany, Oklahoma.. She is survived by: her husband Earl Allen Burch, Jr.; her son Jeffery Hall Brandenburg, MD (Barbara) of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Clayton Brandenburg of Johnson City, TN and Cameron Brandenburg of Camden, SC.. She is also survived by dogs and always had at least one dog.
