She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Fredrick Harvey and Cora Viola Thomas Harvey; her husband Carl E. Skenes Sr.; her sons, Carl E. Skenes Jr. and Dwayne Ray Skenes; her grandson Carl E. Skenes III; and her siblings, Jack Harvey of Lexington and Mary Shoults of Illinois.
She is survived by: her brother Hugh; her children, Gary T. Skenes (Yvonne) of Atlanta, Janice L. Skenes (Wendy) of Mount Pleasant and Michael D. Skenes of Columbia; her granddaughters, Grace, Amelia and Victoria (Dieter); her great grandchildren, Everleigh and Isla; and her brother Robert J. Harvey of Bay Point, CA..
