He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Deater and Crystal Parrish Deater; his wife Joby Williams Deater; his daughter Tammy Bittner; his grandson Brett Lanford; and his sister Janice Bruce.
He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Norris (John); his son-in-law Wade Bittner; his grandchildren, Jason Norris Erin (Jennifer), Blake Lanford (Chelsea), Kody Bittner and Tyler Bittner; and his great grandchildren, Harlee, Jameson, Ensley Cate, Colton and Katie.
