He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys Counts and Wilbur Counts; his wife Janice Counts; his daughter Theresa "Till" Cox; his grandchildren, William "Bubba" Cox (Timothy "Head" Cox) and Miranda "Bump" Johnson; his sister Linda Mantooth (Nathan "Nate" Johnson); and his son Shane (Counts). He was also cherished by many friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, please make love offerings to St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
