He was predeceased by: his parents, George Donald and Gloria Copeland Miller; and his brother Donald S. Miller. He is survived by: his son Alexander Ryan Miller; his sister Kathleen Rebecca Miller; his sister-in-law Joan Hunt Miller; and his sibling's children, Laurie Miller Rikard and Ashley Donald Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Batesburg, 436 W. Church Street, Batesburg SC 29006.
