He was predeceased by : his parents, Sheperd Ross Atkinson and Sarah Henderson Atkinson; and his wife Lola Atkinson. He is survived by : his children, Dana Atkinson, Debbie Synan, Renee Atkinson and Chuck Atkinson; his siblings, K. D. Atkinson, Jr. and Sue Mullins; and his caregiver Mark Atkinson.
