He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Love Smith and Maxine Mae Corbin; his wife Donna Schrag (Schrag); his sister Camille Harmon (Dan); his sons, Michael C. Smith (Jill) and Nicholas C. Smith (Becky); his grandchildren, Colin Michael Corbin, Spencer Fontaine and Sydney Nicole; his stepgrandchildren, Laura Grey Humphrey (Logan) and Meredith Humphrey (Tore); and his great grandchildren, Florence Eva Kot and Gwendolyn Grey Kot.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lexington United Methodist Church (309 E Main St, Lexington, SC 29072).
