She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Mae Kemp; and her husband Leon "Smitty" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Leon Todd Smith (Kandice) of Branson, MO and Rachel Michele Smith (Nicholas) of Lexington, SC; her goddaughter Jenny Peeler Solomon (Russell); her grandchildren, William Smith, Jordan Taylor, Carter Agran and Emma Grace Solomon; and her pets, Pixie, Fifi, Petey, Riggs, Loretta and Ellie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics of South Carolina and the Boys and Girls Club of America to honor Connie's lifelong spirit of generosity.
