With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coolidge Steele (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Webster M. Steele and Lillian C. Steele; his significant other Alvilda K. Steele; his daughter Charm Steele; his siblings, Jewell Derrick (Carl), Joyce Neese, Sylvia Williams and Adam H. Steele (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Jason N Keisler, Truman Keisler (Barbara) and Delphine Fredrick.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Steele (Dotti); his grandchildren, Karlie Steele (Luke) and Justin Murray; his great grandchildren, Cason and Banks Murray; his sister Grace Harmon; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby B. Keisler and Billy Neese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 1273 Calks Ferry Rd. Lexington, SC 29072.
