He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tidwell; his sons, Curtis Tidwell, Jr. and James Jason Tidwell; his stepdaughter Lisa Tidwell Lee; and his siblings, Jeanette McCall, Ronald Tidwell, Robert Tidwell and Sherwood Tidwell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
