He is survived by: his wife Judith Chambless; his siblings, Marlene Brown and Donnie Chambless; his sister-in-law Margaret Ness; his children, Deborah Redmond (Wilbur), Pamela Chambless Melton (David) and Dan Chambless, Jr. (Heather); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Redmond, Tiffanie Redmond, Brittanie Redmond, Whittanie Redmond, Nicholas Redmond, Brandon "Taylor" Chambless, Jacob Chambless, Gracen Chambless, Caleb Chambless, Spencer Melton and Lauren Melton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
