He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Kinard and Dana Kinard; his son-in-law Blair Wilson; and his siblings, Vera Mole (Hoyt), Lennis Rentz (Eldred), Margaret Mole (Haskel), Lorene Carter (Herman), Grace Lyons (Rudolph), Mildred Hightower (Hayne), Rachel Wellons (Jimmy), Evelyn Herndon (Eric), George Kinard (Mazie), James Kinard (Annie Lee), Ned Kinard and Lehmon Kinard (Alice).
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Hawkins; his children, Dr. Lisa Wilson (Art Dennis), Brant "Bucky" Kinard (Kelly), Murry Kinard (Amy) and Bobby Kinard; his grandchildren, Dr. Malissa Etheredge (Chris), Ashlee Bruemmer (Dylan), Harrison, Bryce, Ellie Kinard, Katherine and Susannah Kinard; his great grandchildren, Clara, Cooper Etheredge, Woods and Blake Bruemmer; and his sister Betty Warren (Ralph). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Lexington Baptist Church Missions Ministry or Senior Adult Ministry.
