He was predeceased by: his parents, Reedy Clamp and Pearl Clamp; and his siblings, Marrene Long, Betty Soles, Ruby Gantt and Bert Clamp.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Roof Clamp; his brothers, Wayne Clamp and Curtis Clamp; his children, Eugene Clamp (Nita), Glen Clamp (Brenda), Cindy Whisenant (Ricky), Randall Clamp and Sandra Clamp; his grandchildren, Melisa Roberts (Richard), Eric Clamp (Jordin), Cassie Stone (Jonathan), Chad Clamp (Heather), Leslie Christofoli (Robb) and Jody Clamp (Holly); and his great grandchildren, Emersin Clamp, Emily Roberts, Everleigh Clamp, Grayson Stone, Raines Clamp, Beck Clamp, Brieanna Christofoli and Nathan Stone.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pisgah Lutheran Church and the Lexington Technology Center Future Farmers of America (FFA) Club.
