He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Hanger and Hallie LaFontaine; his sister Betty Sue Schmidt; and his son Neil Cole Hanger. He is survived by: his children, Malcolm Hanger (Helen), Lee Hanger (Sharon), Darlene Weil (Larry) and Trina Moore (Stephen); his stepdaughter Carmen Bouknight (John); and his grandchildren, Amber Collins (David), Mason Hanger (Luisa), Kristen Roof (Ashley), Tyler Weil, Raylee Weil, Colby Moore and Kasen Moore. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
