“I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my best friend from HS and Karen and I would like to express our deepest condolences to Doug's family. I had known Doug for almost 60 years and always grateful for his friendship and admired his tenacity as he faced and beat health challenges throughout his life. Although I did not talk with Doug as often as I wished; when I did, he was always anxious to tell me about the accomplishments of his lovely wife and family. He was a role model for all of us.”
