It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edlyn Shull Kester of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edward Quinton Shull; and her daughter April Leigh. She is survived by: her husband John Y. Kester, Jr.; her daughters, Terri Kester and Joni Kester (Walter); her grandsons, Jacob, Jared, Joseph and Jackson; her siblings, Judy Bryant (Eddie), Faye Wiemer (Dick), Shirley Wessinger (Henry), Danny Shull (Addy) and Wade Shull (Donna); and her aunt Betty. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edlyn's name to the American Cancer Society.
