He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Carla Gardepe; and his great grandchild Billy Quinn. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Odette Woods (Kerry), Brian Gless (Cheryl) and Yvette Alou (Gary); and his stepchildren, Jeanmarie, Richard Sessa, Betteann Kottmyer, Alice Suarez and William Quinn.

In lieu of flowers, Alice requests that any donations be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Baptist Home in Greenwood, SC.
