Elizabeth Morris Wilks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Elizabeth Morris Wilks of Lexington, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Edgar "Bill" Morris and Lily Viola Arthur Morris; her husband Ramon Jeter "Bill" Wilks; her daughter Carol Lynn Rikard; and her siblings, Dot Morris Hope, Billy Morris and Vernon Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Keith (Carol Jean), Jane Wilks and Lori Wilks Bates; her son-in-law Steve Rikard; her grandchildren, Jessica Wilks Easterlin (Nick), Brandon Wilks (Sarah Ansley), Taylor Wilks Wood (Harrison), Jared Rikard (Chelsea), Cameron Rikard Nienberg (Nate), Thomas Bates and Travis Bates; her great grandchildren, Emerson Easterlin, Ellis Easterlin, Evelyn Easterlin, Kennedy Wood, Karlie Wood, James Ansley, Traegan Rikard, Tyson Rikard, McKenzie Nienberg and Bailey Nienberg; and her siblings, Robert "Shorty" Morris (Gloria) and Marian Morris Watts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Baptist Church (2250 Pine St, West Columbia, SC 29170). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
