He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Eli Smith and Velma Paul Smith; his brother Durward; his sister-in-law Catherine Smith; his brother Leverette; and his sister-in-law Audrey Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia; his daughter Kimberly Creech (Andy); his grandchildren, Jeff Creech and Rebecca Eddins (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Charleigh Sydney and McNeil Emery Eddins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverland Hills Baptist Church (230 Persimmon Ln, Lexington, SC 29072).
