Emily Kate Morgan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Kate Morgan of Lexington, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Emily Kate has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William B McAbee (Mac) and Lacy Parker McAbee. She is survived by: her son Tommy Lucas (Camille); her grandson Jack; and her cousin Carol Bailey. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Home of Tom and Jean Shannon Kirkley.

Although Emily suffered with Parkinson's the last 10 years of her life, she never demanded or complained.
