He is survived by: his son Floyd Jack Blackmon Jr. (Chip); his grandchildren, Elijah Blackmon of Dunnegan, Missouri and Mia; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Ruby Blackmon of West Columbia; his friends, Ruth Kepler of Tampa Florida, Mary Margaret Judd of Lexington and Ellen Powell of West Columbia; and his caregiver McKenzie Dangerfield.
In lieu of flowers, Floyd asked the donations be made to Union United Methodist Church Irmo or the charity of one's choice.
