Frances Hudson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Hudson in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose H. Baker and Lula Jane Smith Baker; her brothers, Alpheaus James Baker (Letitia "Letty") and Marion Herman Baker; and her niece Debra Ann "Debbie" Stone.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Edward Hudson, Jr. of Sumter; her son Joe Thomas Hudson (Larry Hembree) of Columbia; her sister-in-law Laura Ruth Baker; and her sibling's children, Lynda Jane Carroll (Wylie) of Manning, Alpheus J. "Al" Baker Jr. (Laura) of Sumter, Sharon Jean Gallahar (Gerald P.) of Columbia and Marion Baker (Tamara) of Chapin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
