Franklin Hampton Wingard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Hampton Wingard (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Franklin Hampton farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Franklin Hampton is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arilla Wingard and Benny Wingard; and his children, Traci Lang and Franklin H. Wingard, Jr.. He is survived by: his close friends, Tippi and Maci. He is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous great grands, one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Abundant Life Assembly (105 Lincoln St, West Columbia, SC 29170). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
