Franklin Wilson Rodgers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Franklin Wilson Rodgers on February 6, 2022 at the age of 78. Borrn in New Holland, South Carolina to the late Henry Albert Rodgers and Mildred Louise Bonds Rodgers. He is preceded in death by Leisa Rodgers (daughter), Jack Rodgers (brother), Betty Gantt (sister), Tyler Curtin (grandson) and Gloria Seigler (sister).
He is survived by his partner in life of 61 years, Mary Helen Rodgers., children Kathy Curtin (Tommy), Kim Harris (Andy) and David Rodgers (Lori), grandchildren Clayton Curtin, Shana Curtin Heath, Taylor Curtin, Trinity Harris, Isaiah Harris, Cailyn Harris, Emma Rodgers, Abby Rodgers and Eli Rodgers as well as 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 11th 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Milton Shealy Funeral Home located at 115 N Pine Street Batesburg SC 29006.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12th 2022 at Hulon Baptist Church located at 133 Hulon Baptist Rd. Batesburg SC 29006. Burial will follow at the Church cemetery.
Franklin LOVED life! He was happiest when spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, fishing or puttering around on his little green tractor!! He was adored by all and will be missed beyond measure...We will celebrate a life well lived❤
