He was predeceased by: his former wife Alecia Philpott Davis of Lexington. He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Cousar (Michael) and Diane Thomas (Joe); his grandchildren, Davis Cousar, Anne Douglas Tincopa (Daniel), Caroline Cousar, Ella Cate Cousar, Hannah Thomas, Will Thomas and Sam Thomas; his wife Donna Lang; his stepchildren, Nelson and Jessica Lang; his stepgrandchildren, Walker and Kyleigh Lang; Angela Lang Lawrence, Peyton Lawrence Bowers (Scott), Harrison Lawrence, LauraLeigh Lawrence and Cooper Bowers.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to scholarship being created in his honor for a student of Northside Academy.
