It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Winston Shealy Sr. of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Perry Shealy and Virgie Shealy; his wife Gloria Ellen Shealy; his son Gerald C. Shealy; and his siblings, Ray Shealy, Perry Shealy, Ansel Shealy and Annis Summer.
He is survived by : his children, George Shealy, Jr. (Karen), Ryan Keith Shealy and Pamela Gaye Shealy; his siblings, John Shealy, Yvonne Spires, Dianne Henderson and Elaine Ray; his grandchildren, Daniel Shealy, James Shealy, Matthew Johnston, Katie Leamond and Ryan Shealy; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Leamond, Gage Johnston, Cai Johnston and Peyton Shealy.
