It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wyman Burnett of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donley Lee and Francis Risinger Burnett; his brother Donald Burnett; and his sister-in-law Eva Sue Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Mickey Ann Burnett; his children, Ashley Burnett (Shannon) and Mira Stogner (Scott); his grandchildren, Will Stogner of Lexington, SC., Alex Burnett of Lexington, SC., Abby Burnett of Lexington, SC. and Ben Stogner of Lexington, SC.; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Burnett and Edwin Barnes. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gilbert Baseball (Gilbert High School attn: Deana Keisler) or St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.
