With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenna Geneva Hammond of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery H. Knasel and Marjorie Howell Knasel. She is survived by: her children, Susan H. Shealy and Randall S. Hammond (Sheila); her grandchildren, Ally Kate Robinson (Mitch) and Hunter Shealy (Annie); her great grandchildren, Avery, Kit and Rory; and her sisters, Pat Higgins and Darlene Hall. She is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St David Lutheran Church (https://stdavid.net.) and Pets Inc., 300 Orchard Dr, West Columbia, SC 29170 (https://petsinc.org). GG will be donating her pacemaker to pets to help with heart conditions.
