It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Evans Jr. in Lexington, South Carolina, born in Lynchburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Harry Sr. Evans and Rebecca Evans; his wife Pia Simmons Evans; his siblings, Emma Hicks, Charles (Patricia), Calvin (Shelia), Harvey and Sammy; his children, Harold, Kaywanna (Cory), Latesia and Kanetra; his nieces, Jessica and Veronica (Terrance); and his friends, Robert Jennings, Mike Perry, Sammie and Quan. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethesda Church of God (2730 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 3280 Valencie Drive, Dalzell.
