She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Bell. She is survived by: her husband John Clarke (Jack); her children, Shawn Clarke (Bridget) of Elgin, SC and Shannon Derrick of Lexington, SC; her grandchildren, Isabella, McAyla Clarke, Kate and Liam Derrick; and her siblings, Jimmy Brafford, George Brafford, David Brafford, Marjarie Holleman, Ann Price and Alma Dickerson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
My enduring memory of her will be how she went out of her way to greet everyone each Sunday on her way into or during the worship service, prior to COVID restrictions and her health issues.
Memorials or contributions may be made in Hazel's name to Mission Lexington or Pisgah Lutheran Church.
