She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oscar and Gertrude Shealy; her brothers, Eugene, George, Clay and Smiley; her husband Wilbur Lee Derrick; and her grandchildren, Barrett and Petra.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Blackwell (Steve) and Bobbie Derrick Hartley.
